In a whirlwind of chaotic flight changes, bag drag schedules, closing out accounts, files, hard drives, last minute contacts, handshakes, hugs, kisses, and "one more" cold one for the road.....
......I'm now ready to head North to Christchurch!!!!!
BUT Wait, there's always more.
Yeah so , they are flying some part for the plane to Christchurch from the States and then down here....by tomorrow....yeah right!
So, maybe hang til Monday, who knows.
It has been such an amazing season down here this time! I have made some great friends and feel like I have a new way of seeing this place. The Carp Shop is the best place to work here, by far! I've been all over this place this year. From extended time out up on the high plateau @ AGAP to South Pole to the top of Mt Erubus to multiple helo trips out to the Dry Valleys, I have enjoyed every minute. This year seemed to hit home a bit more with the people. There are some funny ass people down here, people I'll never forget in a million years.
Everyone is excited to head out into the world and travel to some exotic destination and see the world. I have weighed my options and decided to keep it somewhat local and travel around NZ again and then go to Australia for awhile. Instead of rushing around all over the place to see everything, I'm gonna take it mellow and meet some locals and live it day by day!
